GENERAL
- It would help if you arrived at least 10 minutes before any relaxation/waxing service so you can complete a guest intake form.
- If you are late to your service, it may be cut short or rescheduled with another service provider.
- We ask that you cancel your appointment if you are ill with the flu/cold/flu.
- Please let your service provider know if you have filled out an intake form previously for facials, waxing, or massage/body treatments.
- Before receiving any facial or body treatment, you must pay the entire amount. The prices are not prorated.
MASSAGE
Massage is not recommended for the following conditions:
- Acute flare-ups for certain systemic inflammatory/autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, gout, and lupus erythematosus
- Systemic contagious/infectious disease, including the common cold
- Deep Vein Thrombosis – absolute contraindication for 3-6 Months; after that, a physician’s signed release is required
- Stroke: No massage within the first month of stroke. Within six months, a written release from a doctor is required
- Transient Ischemic Attack: A physician’s signed release is required
- Multiple sclerosis in its acute stages. Sub-acute/remission can be indicated by massage
- Intoxication
- Acute impetigo
- Ringworm and other fungal infections are widespread
- Scabies
- Heart attack: A physician’s signed release is required six months after the initial event
- Congenital heart disease: The physician’s written consent required
- Uncontrolled high blood pressure requires a physician’s written release

- It is impossible to wake broken skin.
- Between hair removal appointments, the ideal waiting time is four weeks. This ensures that all hairs will be removed during the appointment.
- You can have hair removed during your period, but it is possible to do so during menstruation.
- Providers will use an alternative wax on the body and face for sensitive skin.
